A while ago Glisten & Glow released two amazing Cocktails Anyone? holographic collections and today I have swatches of Part 1 for you. The colors on this collection are brighter and more summer-y but you can use these any time of the year if you ask me.
Formula on all of these is thin and very easy to apply. No dragging or balding, they apply smoothly and dry fast. Three thin coats provide the strongest holo effect and oh man, that holo is STRONG! The colors are really nice and bright and look beautiful even when the holo isn’t visible. I honestly have nothing bad to say about these polishes. I wore all of them for a full manicure for a day or two each and there was no staining or other issues. Since I already had the UV-gel layover on my nails when I received these I can’t say much about the staying power. I did wear another Glisten & Glow holo when I had my natural nails and had absolutely no issues with that one (I used it with Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu! base coat and HK Girl top coat).
All of these swatches are 2 to 3 coats of polish and HK Girl top coat. No base coat. As usual HK Girl top coat didn’t dull the holo effect on these polishes. First two photos of each polish are taken with daylight bulbs, the third photo is taken in direct sunlight.

These are all so pretty I simply can’t pick a favorite one. I’ve gone back and wore these again later on. I even did a gradient using to different purples and it turned out great (post coming up). If you’re into holos I highly recommend this collection.
