It’s been a while since I did a “Matching Nails & Makeup” post so here we go. I did this look for Mother’s Day. I started by wanting to do neutral/nude eyes and bright red lipstick and nails and ended up with something else. I remembered my new e.l.f. Disney Elsa palette and wanted to use that. I also had to use fake lashes again cos it’s the pollen season. I’ve been having such bad allergies and I’ve been rubbing my eyes (it’s not a smart thing to do, I know) so hard I’ve lost some lashes too.

After the eyes were done I knew right away that I wanted to pair this look with brand new Jindie Nails shade Shine & Dine.

For this look I used:

Face

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25H Foundation with Comfort Serum – 102 Light Nude
Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen – 002
Sensai Loose Powder (translucent)
Lily Lolo Finishing Powder Flawless Silk (for some extra glow)
NYX Mosaic Powder – 02 Latte
H&M Bronzing & Highlight Powder (this product is ancient and I used it just for the fun memories)
Diorblush – 873 Cherry Glory (Spring 2015 Collection)

Brows

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade – Medium brown

Eyes

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
e.l.f. Disney Elsa Icing Eyeshadow and Eyeliner – Let It Go as a base
e.l.f. Disney Elsa Snow and Ice Glow Eyeshadow palette. Two reds in the middle and two lighter shades on the right
Rimmel Wonder’full Wake Me Up Mascara
Ardell Natural Lashes 117 (don’t pay attention to the lashes being glued all weird on my other eye. No idea what happened there)

Lips

NYX Round Lipstick Haute Coutour

And then the nails. As I said I used a brand new Jindie Nails polish Shine & Dine.

“This polish is a hot pink to red cream with a pink/purple shimmer/flash and pink flecks.”

This was insanely pigmented and was easily a one coater for me. The application was so smooth and easy. Dry time was quick. The pink flash is stronger IRL than it appears on my photos. This did stain a bit though. I made a bit of a mess on my middle finger cuticle (totally my fault, the polish is very easy to apply without making a mess) and it was somewhat hard to clean up and the cuticle plus the nail remained a bit stained.

This also left a bit of pink staining on my nails when I removed it after wearing it for about 36 hours. I got most of the staining off with nail polish remover and the rest pretty much faded away with good amount of oiling. So I do recommend a couple of coats of a good stain preventing base coat to wear with this one.

Other than the staining this polish is just amazing. Love the color and the flash it has and in a direct sunlight it looks like there might also be a very subtle scattered holo effect going on, so pretty! Application was oh so smooth and it truly is a one coater.

For this manicure I used a coat of Essie Nourish Me, a coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, a coat of Shine and Dine plus HK Girl top coat.
